Meet Thomas Marti, educator in our 6-12 classroom

Thomas grew up in Canada and made the move to France in 2021, bringing with him a love of history, a bachelor’s degree in Canadian history, and a path that had already taken him deep into the world of Montessori education.

Before arriving in Valence, he spent four years in Toronto working as a French-speaking assistant in a Montessori classroom. It was there that his passion for the method really took root. He pursued his Montessori educator training in Vancouver with real determination, including through the COVID-19 pandemic, when he completed part of the program remotely rather than give up on it.

Since joining our school, Thomas has brought that same energy and commitment to our 6-12 classroom every single day. His international background gives him a naturally open and curious perspective, and his warmth makes children feel seen and supported. He believes deeply in fostering independence, curiosity, and a genuine love of learning, and it shows.
